| Tiivistelmä: | This article deals not with theory, but with everyday applications of ethics, which are urgent. The public's worry about professional ethics in general spills over to concern about the need to put ethical issues into science and engineering curricula. A number of universities are making significant progress using the "pervasive" method of integrating case studies involving ethical issues into regular engineering courses. Professional societies and many major corporations support efforts to make scientists and engineers critically examine their ethical values. |
