| Tiivistelmä: | In article is presented the concept of New Public Management, which can be used as a guideline for modernization of Slovene public administration. The concept brings in the public administration the way how the business is done in private sector.Efficiency, effectiveness and reduction of costs are the most commonly used approaches to be taking under consideration.Because the people are the most critical element in a system of public sector, particular attention must be put on developing self-awareness for personal and organizational development. |
