Tiivistelmä:Many factories are engaged in the development of the new products.The competitivity between manufacturers is increasing in most industries. The circumstances force the factories in the direction of faster and faster introduction of the new products on the market to prevent to become obsolete and to increase their own competetiviness. How to approach the development of new products and what kind of the products to develop is therefore a difficult question.As the author's answer, some approaches, methods, techniques and strategies, how to cope with the unknown area of the new products, are discussed. In further discussion some of them are described in more detail in connection with the functions of the factory: marketing, research and development, production and sale.
