| Tiivistelmä: | Sixteen large U.S. firms are examined which have regional offices for Europe. The purpose is to determine the reasons for taking a regional approach,the responsibilities of the offices and the outlook for the future of international regional management endeavors. Although all participants view the European regional concept as working satisfactory for them,that does not imply that there are no problems. Although all see a bright future for European officers, most also feel that their approaches for Europe would be inappropriate for other regions of the world. |
