| Tiivistelmä: | Investment situation in 1998 is as follows: relatively loose economic conditions; proper degree of tightness in economic policies; accelerated paces in reform of investment system; domestic capital market towards perfection; the not- optimistic international capital market. The growth of fixed asset investment in 1998 should be controlled around 20 percent. Suggestions for investment control in 1998: Trigger the economy from all sides; loosen the control over projects which have just gone into operation by a proper degree; revitalize mechanic industry; amplify the inputs to infrastructure facilities such as hydroelectricity, water conservancy and environmental protection; expand the range of providing work as a form of relief; put an end to welfare housing system and perfect the secondary market of commercial apartments. |
