| Tiivistelmä: | The acquisition of "global competence skills" has become the dominant school of though on curriculum internationalization in the United Kingdom. The globalization of competition and markets, rapid technological changes, and the changing relationship btw. firms and states require difference skills and educational approaches from those traditionally assumed. New young business executives will become better practitioners if they are sensitive to the theoretical complexity of international business practice and strategy and consequently more able to deal creatively and imaginatively, even perhaps more radically with the "globalization" of business. The paper proposes the development of a coherent political-economy approach to international business education, constructed as an interdisciplinary approach rather than a multidisciplinary approach. |
