| Tiivistelmä: | A wish list is offered of what this author hopes the next hundred years will provide, without implying any confidence that it will actually do so, rather than attempting to suggest what the author believes the future will bring to our discipline. Four subjects are discussed: research methods /the role of mathematics, the short-run orientation of macroeconomics/; teaching matter /on future curriculum/; subjects for relatively pure research; topics for applied economics. Also, desiderata for future research orientation are discussed. |
