| Tiivistelmä: | In 1996, the economic operation of machine building industry features the following: The industrial production grew steadily. The link of production with marketing was getting better month by month. But the overall level was still lower than last year's. The growth of export fell again and the state of economic returns didn't turn much better. In 1997, there are many unfavourable factors influencing the development of machine building industry. However, the macro economic environment will be improved further. Nevertheless there are still some favourable factors benefiting the development of machine building industry. It is estimated that the output value of machine building industry will possible top 500 billion yuan with its growth rate standing at 10-11% or so. |
