| Tiivistelmä: | The pattern of economic growth, driven by demand for investment mainly in basic industries can not satisfy the intensive development of the national economy and enhance the competitiveness in world market any more. Therefore, the structure of the national economy must be adjusted to ensure the co-ordinated development of machine-building industry and basic industries. At the new development stage in China stress should be put on the development of processing industry, especially machine-building industry. During the Ninth five-year Plan period, investment should be concentrated on equipment. At the same time, the new growth points of machine-building industry should be cultivated and developed actively. |
