| Tiivistelmä: | German enterprises got contracts of the order of 100 million DEM in the 1980s in China. However, since 1988 they got no contract for contribution in the large projects of the country. The situation seems to be changing again, but the competition of Japanese, British and Spanish firms makes to the German the road to China a hard one. Companies of these countries can offer very advantageous financing possibilities based on cheap government credits. German politicians and managers are intensively looking for the areas on which the enterprises of their country take part in the modernization of the huge Asiatic country. |
