| Tiivistelmä: | China's textile industry should expand export and international market by making use of opportunities brought by the reentry into GATT. The production of cotton, especially the superior cotton should be developed. The additive value of the export textile products should be raised. The export position of important market and traditional products should be consolidated. Garment export should be developed with great effort. Renovation and transformation of equipment should be speeded up. It is also important to improve quality, to develop new products and boosting the competitiveness of textile products in the international market. |
