| Tiivistelmä: | In 1995, the export volume of Beijing's foreign-funded enterprises amounted to USD 0.66 billion. In the first quarter of 1996, it surpassed USD 70 million, up 50% from the same period of 1995. The characteristics of the enterprises growing in export are as follows: They have introduced and digested the foreign advanced technology and management methods and have flexible management mechanism. They organize production in line with international standards and practices. Their products which are tech- intensive and capital-intensive ones with high added- value and good quality are salable and in good demand. By taking fully advantage of policy, they carry out flexible processing trade to reduce cost and increase efficiency. |
