| Tiivistelmä: | It's calculated that the propelling effect that our country's export trade has in the economic growth is rather small. Although the GNP of our country has maintained a two-digit growth since 1981 (except the previous two years) and the total amplification of export is substantial, the actuating quantities of the export trade's propelling effect in economic growth over the years have been fairly small. It is only since 1994 that the actuating quantity has reached beyond 4 percent. The potentials in our export trade are far from being fully exploited. The main problems in the structure of our export commodities are as follows: resource-intensive finished products constitute an excessively large proportion; the quality and the grade of products are not high, which results in the lack of competitive capacity on the international market. |
