| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper, the authors empirically analyze the relationship between exports, the real exchange rate and world trade in a small open economy. By contrast to earlier studies, which focus on the effect of the real exchange rate on exports in the framework of dynamic regression models or a cointegration and/or error correction framework, the authors fully attempt to account separately for the trend and cyclical interdependence of these variables. |
