Tiivistelmä:This paper deals with the crowding-out effect of the fallacy of composition, that is, whether developing countries (here as: d-ctrs.) specializing in exports of manufactured products compete and crowd out one another's exports (as: o-an-expts). Fixed-effects panel estimation results suggest that d-ctrs. are not crowding out o-an-expts. However, they are instead crowding out Western European countries' exports of manufactured products.
