Tiivistelmä:It is the aim of the article to deduce criteria for a behavioral orientated segmentation in the market of fashionable clothes. Therefore, in the first part we confront some theoretical hypotheses about the determinants of the (early) buying behavior with real world data. To analyse the data, it seems appropriate to use the LISREL program. In the second part of the study, we take the results of the analysis to show some implications for retail stores, which sell fashionable clothes.
