| Tiivistelmä: | The ecologic problem is caused by an exponentially growing economy in a closed and resource-constrained world. Exponential growth is pursued because conflict of interests is easier to solve in a growing economy than in a stagnating one. In a democratic society there are no natural interest groups defending the future and the environment: they have to be created. |
