Tiivistelmä:An aggregate meta-production function with three inputs - capital (K), labour (L), and human capital (H) - is estimated using annual data drawn from the Group-of-Five (G-5) countries and the East Asian Newly Industrialised Countries (NICs) - Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. The quantity of human capital is measured in terms of the total number of years of education per person of the working age population. It is found that the aggregate production functions of all nine countries are identical in terms of "efficiency-equivalent" units of inputs and outputs (including human capital).
