| Tiivistelmä: | In fact, the management theorist venturing outside his or her own country into other parts of the world is like Alice in Wonderland. He or she will meet strange customs, beings, ways of organizing, and theories. Then, after the first culture shock, the traveller to Wonderland will feel enlightened, and may be able to take experiences home and use them advantegeously. All great ideas in management, science and politics have travelled from one country to another, and also been enriched by foreign influences. The roots of American management theories are mainly in Europe. |
