| Tiivistelmä: | After reviewing briefly the operational state of materials market in China in 1997, this paper lays stress on analyzing the situation of means of production market nationwide and its main characteristics. It also analyzes the demand and supply state of some major materials, such as steel products, cooper, lead, coal, rubber, vehicle, timber and cement. The author thinks that the situation will still get better. Both the production of steel products and demand for them will continue to increase greatly. But on cooper and lead markets, supply will exceed demand. |
