| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this article is to develop and present an extended definition of the concept of ecotourism. The understanding of what ecotourism is and stands for is very diverse and the discussion found in Finland is used as an illustrative case in this article. The general view in Finland is that sustainable tourism should be used instead of the concept of ecotourism. |
