| Tiivistelmä: | The authors conducted a survey on the gender dimensions of job insecurity and the consequences of job insecurity for women´s and men´s commitment to paid employment and their work orientations. As a result, the authors argue that it is time to move beyond essentialist conceptions of work orientations and central life interests in order to understand the place occupied by paid work in people´s lives. |
