| Tiivistelmä: | The auhtors were interested in the theme of leadership ratings collected from units operating under stable conditions and the use of the acquired information to predict subsequent performance of units operating under stress and uncertantity. In order to put the issue into context, the authors calculated the predictive relationships for the transformational and transactional leadership of the U.S. 72 light infantry rifle platoon leaders for ratings of unit potency, cohesion, and performance for U.S. Army platoons taking part in combat simulation exercises. |
