| Tiivistelmä: | A set of small, venture capital-backed manufacturing firms is examined and compared to a control sample of nonventure capital-backed manufacturing firms going public. The degree of underpricing, three-year sales growth, three-year cumulative stock return, and three-year survivability are used as measures of success. The results indicate no significant differences between VC- and nonVC-backed firms. |
