| Tiivistelmä: | This paper analyses the effect of profit-sharing plan (PSP) adoption on the value creation process of financial services firms. Its approach is both qualitative and quantitavive. The findings suggest that firms adopting a PSP improve their profitability both in comparison to their earlier performance and to firms that sre not adopting a PSP. It is also shown that a PSP positively affect only profit drivers that are under employee control, and a PSP is more likely to have a long-term, positive influence on the external profit drivers than on internal profit drivers. |
