| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines whether household consumption exhibits economies of scale as the number of household members increases. The data is collected from Germany and France. The authors also study whether the economies of scale change as living standards rise. The results of the research support the notion that household economies of scale increase as the living standards go up. |
