Tiivistelmä:This article examines the relationships between the Big Five personality traits and both charismatic and transactional leadership behaviour, and whether dynamism moderates these relationships. Subordinates rated their leader's behaviour, and peers and superiors evaluated the efficiency of that leader. Personality was measured through self ratings. The findings suggest that perceived dynamic work environment moderated the relationship of four of the Big Five-Factors with both charismatic and transactional leadership. Charismatic leadership was also positively related to perceived efficiency, but only in dynamic contexts.
