| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses two analyses of the diverstity of contemporary national economies: the variety of capitalism school (VOC) and regulation theory (RT). Both approaches make intensive use of international comparisons, challenge the role of market as the exclusive coordinating mechanism, and doubt whether there is only "one best way" for capitalism. The differences between these two approaches are also examined. |
