Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines how and why stakeholder (hereafter as: s-hldr./s-hldrs.) power and organizational learning (here as: lrng.) interact, drawing on comparative case studies of the environmental management practices found in two major companies. The evidence suggests a complex relationship btw. the ambition of company goals, the structure of lrng., and the influence of s-hldrs. on the process and outcomes of lrng. Exploitative lrng. routines were effective when s-hldr. influences converged, whereas explorative lrng. took place without convergence but the implementation of this lrng. was hampered. |
