| Tiivistelmä: | A new business model founded on the idea of skills brokerage is presented in the article. The purpose of the model is to promote entrepreneurship and help new businesses to cope in the networked economy. The model suggests that entrepreneurs could share the revenues or even ownership of the company with skills brokers as a return for their skills and knowledge. Skills are especially important for companies in the networked and information concentrated markets. The skills brokerage business model is demonstrated by three case studies, and the writers consider its implications for both theory and practice. |
