| Tiivistelmä: | This paper argues that a synthesis on issues related to the applicability of management theories to developing countries published by Kiggundu, Jorgensen and Hafsi is not accurate anymore. They claimed that management theory is only applicable when the organization could behave as a closed system. Their study is replicated and their hypothesis tested. It is shown that there is widespread applicability of western-based concepts of general management and organizational theories to developing countries. |
