Tiivistelmä:This article proposes the integrate-or-relate decision in knowledge accumulation (here as: KA.) as a complement to the well-known make-or-buy and keep-or-sell decisions in knowledge acquisition (as: KQ.) and exploitation (as: KE.). A key factor for taking adequate decisions etc. are unbiased attitudes to the knowledge management (KM) tasks. Instead of focusing on the 'not-invented-here' (NIH) syndrome, a more holistic view is adopted by extending prior research on two dimensions: 1. considering all major KM tasks and not limiting the analysis to KQ., and 2. taking into account that excessively positive attitudes may exist. Accordingly, identified are the following six syndromes: 'NIH' vs. 'buy-in' in KQ., 'all-stored-here' vs. 'relate-out' in KA. and 'only-used-here' vs. 'sell-out' in KE.
