| Tiivistelmä: | Nuclear power has always been heavily regulated by the government, reducing the ability to develop new means for the generation of energy using nuclear fuel. The government involvement is based upon outdated technology and an improper regulatory philosophy. Anti-market environmentalists misunderstand the implications of a free market in nuclear power and argue against it based on problems actually caused by government involvement. This paper advocates a hands-free policy for the nuclear power industry - a free market. |
