| Tiivistelmä: | This paper deals with the relationship btw. business concepts (hereafter as: bus-cpts.) and profitability (here as: prof-ty.) in mid-sized firms. Based on literature review and an empiral study of all firms in the prefab-housing industry in Sweden with more than 20 employees, it is found that the ratio btw. the number of local connections btw. themes in the bus-cpts. and the total number of bus-cpts. themes co-varies with firm prof-ty. As assumed in the literature, it is suggested that bus-cpts. should be configured in an operational way, highlighting cause-effect-relationships (original in Swedish). |
