| Tiivistelmä: | The paper discusses information security in organisations. It is recommended that reviews are done at least once a year and they should involve various levels in the organisation. However, organisations seem not to do these security reviews as often as it is recommended. The paper investigates triggers that can cause an organisation to review its information security policy and policy implementation, and which actors are involved in the change process. The results show that awareness of risk amongst directors and senior managers influences how often information security reviews take place and the outcome of these reviews. |
