| Tiivistelmä: | This paper explores the variation in the post-privatization pattern of labour and employment relations in the telecommunications sector of Argentina and Mexico. The paper suggest that the initial mode of privatization shaped changes in employment, subcontracting and work rules in the period following privatization. It also suggest that negotiated reform is more likely to emerge only when certain political incentives are present. |
