| Tiivistelmä: | The strategies of many mobile network operating companies are misguided and rooted in the past. This article deals with how to unbundle the industry's mobile value chain (here as: v-ch.) to realize profits. Research into the emerging strategies of mobile network operators (MNO) in Europe, as well as teaching and consulting work with both mobile operating companies etc. supports and extends the theories of industry v-ch. evolution and profit migration. It is asserted that the dominant firm-level MNO v-ch. is timely for unbundling in response to products/services evolution. |
