| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper, a model is developed in which the number of joint venture/s (JV/JVs) partners (here as: prts.) affects JV performance through contract completeness (as: c-cns.) and prts. cooperation (as: p-coop). Based on a sample of 224 international JVs, it is found that the number of prts. is negatively related to JV c-cns. and p-coop., both of which are positively related to JV performance. The number of prts. is inversely related to JV performance and the relationship is mediated by c-cns. and p-coop. |
