| Tiivistelmä: | This study uses a dual-dependency perspective to present results from 26 comprehensive interviews with international secondees within two UK-based organizational contexts. Examined is the perceived impact of an international assignment on the career capital of individuals, indicating that the outcomes of IAs can be equivocal for expatriates. This research provided an investagative insight into points of departure rather than complementarity in individuals' international careers in organizations. A more complex, contextualized picture of the impacts of IAs on the careers of individuals emerged. |
