Tiivistelmä: | New employees are one possible source of innovative ideas. The conditions of efficient knowledge transfer (KT) in a team are analyzed based on an game-theoretic model. Management has to provide incentives to motivate employees to act in favour of the company. This paper aims at showing what influences the propensity of the employees to engage in KT and how the management can design the incentive structure for optimal KT. Several factors are relevant, especially the individual costs of participating in the KT, relating to existing absorptive capacity and working atmosphere etc. |
