| Tiivistelmä: | The study suggests that the current methodology used to measure employee turnover is limited. According to this paper, retrospective self-reporting by actual leavers is a better research method. The paper argues that retrospective self-reporting allows greater insight into the complex quit decision. A study of 352 UK National Health Service nurses is presented to demonstrate the benefits. |
