Tiivistelmä:This paper investigates whether there is a difference in ethical views between faculties that focus mainly on quantitative topics and those focusing largely on qualitative issues. Data was gathered from a survey of 89 U.S. business schools. Some statistically significant differences were found. For example, qualitative faculty members found ignoring colleague’s unethical behavior and selling complementary textbooks more unethical than those in quantitative faculties. On the other hand, showing controversial media in class and bringing up sexually or racially charged topics was considered more unethical by quantitative faculty members.
