| Tiivistelmä: | In Russia, the 2001 law 'On political parties' set out many substantive changes to party finance (hereafter as: p-fin). This article examines these elements of the law on parties, to ascertain the aims of this party funding (here as: p-fnd.) reform, the extent to which these aims have been realized, and what impact the law's financial terms have had on p-fin. The article draws on new sources, that is, parties' annual financial accounts, to discover Russian p-fnd. and the presidential administration's attitude. |
