| Tiivistelmä: | In this article the author develops an analytical model to examine how technology spillovers influence the relationship between emissions taxes and technological change and compares the results with models presented in existing literature. The study concentrates on the choices of individual companies in the economy concerning consumption, investment in emissions-saving technology and production technology and the use of fossil fuels. The examination pays attention to the Pigovian level. The analytical and numerical results are not in line with the existing literature on the timing of CO2 taxes. |
