| Tiivistelmä: | The authors focused on a large global software development (hereafter as GSD) project as a case study to define requirements engineering (hereafter as RE) phase in the development of an information system. The participants of the project team were located in widely distributed geographic locations therefore communication issues were at the focus of this study. The findings highlight the social and cultural aspects of RE and the need for lasting relationships between users and developers in GSD. |
