| Tiivistelmä: | The idea of this paper is to discuss the relation between trust and information among credit participants. The recent development of information technologies on finance has diverted focus on information processing meanwhile the social aspects of trust have put aside. Previous findings suggest that there is an asymmetry of information between the borrower and lender. The paper documents that the trust behind credit transactions is a socially constructed relationship which is transformed through the operations of the credit system likewise the information necessary to sustain relations of trust. |
