| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this paper is to gain a better understanding of the development of the quality agenda in British higher education from 1992 to present. The article reviews the recent move from quality assurance to quality enhancement paying particular attention to perspectives related to political science and social philosophy. According to the findings the transition was result from a different kind of higher education politics in Britain. |
