| Tiivistelmä: | The article looks at the impact of the global warming on winter tourism in Austria. This article uses a standardized online questionnaire to gain a better understanding about tourists' destination preferences. The analysis on 540 responses of skiers from Vienna, Austria, show that the skiers can accept some additional traveling and costs to reach resorts with satisfying snow conditions. However numerous tourists would decide to pass the skiing if the expenses will grow because of the lack of snow caused by the climate change. |
