| Tiivistelmä: | This paper explores the effect of environmental (here as: env-al.) investment and related spillover effects on productivity in the agricultural sector based on panel data of horticultural firms in Andalusia, Spain. There is found among others a positive relationship btw. firm investment in env-al. practices and productivity improvement, also showing the presence of positive env-al. spillovers. In a second-stage of analysis, the incidence of env-al. factors in firm specific individual technical efficiency is estimated. |
