| Tiivistelmä: | This study explores the effect of ISO 9000 certification on resource inflow of German mechanical engineering firms. The findings suggest the organizations to be actually rewarded for complying with institutionalized (here as: inst-ed.) expectations and implementation of the ISO 9000 standards. The readiness to comply with inst-ed. norms is also shown to lead to different economic consequences in East and West Germany. |
